Chanel Contos is an accomplished founder and managing director of Teach Us Consent since February 2022, initiated a significant conversation about sexual assault in schools after a viral social media post. Currently serving as the chair of the Youth Advisory Committee at the Global Institute for Women's Leadership - ANU, Chanel proposed the committee to advance female leadership. Additionally, Chanel held the position of director of the Centre of Sex & Gender Equality at The Australia Institute, where efforts focused on legislative campaigns regarding stealthing. Educational background includes a Master of Education in Gender and International Development from UCL and a Bachelor of Commerce/Arts from UNSW, complemented by experiences in equity analysis and teaching.
