Ashanta Evans Blackwell serves as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Teach For America, having previously held the position of Deputy General Counsel. Blackwell has experience as an Associate General Counsel at Teach For America and as a Judicial Law Clerk for the United States District Court. In addition, Blackwell worked as Assistant Inspector General at the Office of the Executive Inspector General. Blackwell is a member of the Board of Trustees at Mount Holyoke College, where education was completed from 1991 to 1995, and also attended Vanderbilt University Law School.
