David Long is a Research and Development Engineer currently working at TDA Research since April 2021, focusing on electrical engineering projects. Previously, David held positions at Magswitch Technology, Inc. as a Research and Development Engineer and Continuous Improvement Engineer, where responsibilities included developing new products and enhancing existing technologies. David's experience at Lockheed Martin Corporation spanned both a Manufacturing Engineer role, overseeing the production of commercial satellites, and an internship focused on process improvements. Early career experiences include roles as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Colorado School of Mines, where contributions were made to robotics and biomechatronics projects, and a Student Intern at the National Center for Atmospheric Research, developing an air pressure regulation system. David started as a Machinist apprentice at Ingram Machining, Inc., honing practical engineering skills.
