Tamar (Tamuna) Togonidze has over two decades of experience in the field of tuberculosis and lung disease management. Currently serving as the Head of the Strategic Planning Department and Secretary of the Drug Resistant TB Committee at the National Center for Tuberculosis and Lung Diseases since September 2003, Tamar also holds multiple roles as a Study Coordinator for various research studies at TB Alliance, starting in July 2018. Tamar's educational background includes a Doctor of Medicine - MD from Tbilisi State Medical University and additional training from the South Caucasus Field Epidemiology and Laboratory Training Program.
