Marianna Shlak has a diverse work experience in the field of human resources. Marianna started their career as a Human Resources Specialist at the American Arbitration Association in 1998. Marianna then worked as an Executive Recruiter at Robert Hadley. In 2002, they became a Recruiting Manager at NYC Health and Hospitals Corporation and later joined Lehman Brothers as a Business Partner. In 2008, they served as the Manager of Human Resources at the Sports Museum of America and then became the Director of Human Resources at Wildcat Service Corporation, where they provided strategic HR leadership. Marianna joined Services for the UnderServed in 2011 as the Director of Talent Acquisition & Retention, where they introduced leading practices and process improvements. Currently, they are working as the Director of Human Resources at TB Alliance.
Marianna Shlak, SPHR received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from The City University of New York. Marianna then went on to pursue their Master of Arts degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from New York University. In 2012, Marianna obtained their Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR®) Certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI. Additionally, in 2015, they obtained the SHRM-Certified Senior Professional designation from SHRM.
