Nadine Alameh serves as the Inaugural Executive Director of the Taylor Geospatial Institute since August 2023, focusing on advancing geospatial research. Concurrently, Alameh holds positions as a Board Member for both the United Nations Volunteers' Geospatial Global Information Management PSN and LebNet, aiming to facilitate private sector engagement in global geospatial initiatives and support Lebanese tech entrepreneurs, respectively. Alameh is also a member of the U.S. National Geospatial Advisory Committee, providing strategic advice to the federal government on national geospatial programs. Previously, Alameh was the CEO and President of the Open Geospatial Consortium, leading innovative initiatives in location data, and held various roles across multiple organizations, emphasizing technological innovation and organizational development. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Computer and Information Systems Engineering and multiple master’s degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, as well as a Bachelor of Engineering from the American University of Beirut.
