Rose Yen has a strong background in law and legal counsel, with experience in various industries. Their most recent role is as the General Counsel at TaxSlayer since May 2022. Prior to that, they held the same position at Vertigo Music | App from October 2018 to May 2022. Rose also worked as the Corporate Counsel at Movie Mars, Inc. from March 2004 to October 2018. In addition, Rose Yen served as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Kenneth L. Ryskamp at the United States District Court for The Southern District of Florida from August 2004 to May 2006. Early in their career, they worked as an Associate at Jones Foster from August 1999 to August 2004 and as an Adjunct Professor at Florida Atlantic University from January 2002 to May 2003.

Rose Yen has a Doctor of Law - JD degree from Georgetown University Law Center. Rose also completed the Leadership in Corporate Counsel program at Harvard Law School Executive Education. In addition, Rose Yen holds a Bachelor of Science - BS degree in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Arts - BA degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Maryland.

Rose Yen has obtained several certifications, including Certified Information Privacy Professional - United States (CIPP/US) from IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals. Rose is also certified by The Florida Bar and is a North Carolina Notary Public. Rose Yen is inactive in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the Southern, Middle, and Northern Districts of Florida.
