Alison Brunson has a diverse work experience in the field of visual design. Alison is currently employed at TaxSlayer as a Visual Design Manager, where they lead a team of visual designers and provides support and mentorship. In this role, they also provide art direction, reviews work, and leads projects from concept to execution. Prior to this, Alison worked as a Senior Visual Designer at TaxSlayer, where they conceptualized and designed various assets such as emails, social media graphics, and ads. Alison also designed internal assets and presented designs to stakeholders for feedback.

Before joining TaxSlayer, Alison worked as a Designer & Illustrator at Designed by Alison, where they utilized their creativity to design and illustrate various projects. Alison also worked at Barberitos Franchising, Inc. as a Graphic Designer, where they created print and digital designs for the corporate office and franchise locations. In this role, they also designed merchandise, packaging, and signage for the stores.

Alison also has experience working as a Graphic Designer at The Spot On Agency, where they created print and digital designs for diverse clientele. Alison collaborated with various teams and clients on projects and used UX principles to design web pages. Additionally, they worked as a Graphic Designer at The University of Georgia, where they designed educational extenders that were used in nutrition education classes across Georgia.

Alison Brunson obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Graphic Design from The University of Georgia, where they studied from 2011 to 2015. In addition to their formal education, Alison also completed the Principles of Animation (Animation Bootcamp) certification program at the School of Motion in May 2022. Prior to that, they earned the Inbound Certification from HubSpot in July 2015.
