Mike Shaw is a seasoned tax professional with extensive experience in complex tax issues and policy. Currently serving as the Director and Senior Tax Partner at Olivershaw since November 2011, Mike specializes in tax structuring and IRD disputes. Additionally, Mike serves on the Advisory Board of Taxlab, where strategic advice and collaboration on commercial and tax needs are provided. Prior to founding Olivershaw, Mike was a Senior Tax Partner at Deloitte from September 1992 to November 2011, where significant contributions were made to the Corporate Taxpayer Group, the largest tax lobby group outside the Institute of Chartered Accountants of New Zealand. Mike's foundational education took place at Wanganui Boys College.
