Mireia Pumarola has a diverse work experience in the field of service design and business consulting. Mireia is currently working at Taxfix as a Lead Service Designer, a position they obtained in 2022 after previously serving as a Senior Service Designer. Prior to that, they worked at Fjord, a part of Accenture Interactive, where they held various roles including Senior Business & Service Designer and Business & Service Designer Consultant. Mireia'sresponsibilities at Fjord included conducting user and market research, leading workshops, creating new research methods, and collaborating with other disciplines. Additionally, Mireia has experience as a Visiting Lecturer at Göteborgs universitet, teaching courses on integrated projects, strategy and innovation, and introducing service and business design methodologies to students. Mireia also has previous experience as an Intern Business Designer at Fjord, a freelance designer at Bfp+r, a concept and experience designer at Iglhaut + von Grote GmbH, and an intern at Tomàs López Design.

Mireia Pumarola completed their Master of Science in Business Design (MSc. in Business Design) from the University of Gothenburg in 2016. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Arts in Design (BA) from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona between 2007 and 2011. In 2010, Mireia also took a Central Saint Martins course in Contemporary Art Studies at the University of the Arts London, specializing in Contemporary Art Strategy and Curation. Mireia has additional certifications in "Storytelling for influence" and "Designing a Business" from IDEO, obtained in 2019 and 2018 respectively.
