Robert Kotrych is an experienced software engineer currently employed at TaxAct since October 2021, serving as Software Engineer II. Previously, Robert worked at Thomson Reuters from April 2015 to July 2021, where responsibilities included developing and testing UltraTax CS, focusing on state products for 1040 individual returns. Prior to that, Robert was a Project Engineer at RedViking Engineering from April 2012 to March 2015, contributing to the deployment and configuration of Error Proofing and Part Sequencing systems in automotive plants, as well as working on web development projects to showcase these systems to potential customers. Robert holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Michigan-Dearborn, obtained in 2012.
