Richard C. Auxier is a seasoned policy associate with a strong background in tax policy and public management. Currently serving as a Senior Policy Associate and previously as a Research Associate at the Urban-Brookings Tax Policy Center since April 2014, Auxier has extensive experience in research, analysis, and policy communication. Prior roles include research analyst at the D.C. Tax Revision Commission, where responsibilities encompassed the production of the Commission's final report and briefing memos, and instructor in the College Park Scholars Public Leadership Program. Auxier's early career involved research and communications positions at notable organizations, including the Pew Research Center and the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Richard C. Auxier holds a Master of Public Management in Public Sector Financial Management and a BA in Political Science and Government and Economics from the University of Maryland.
