Mirit Hoek is an experienced professional specializing in water technology, currently serving as an Adviseur watertechnologie at Tauw since January 2021. Previous roles include Thuiszorg at Tzorg, a Stagiaire position at Waterschap Vallei en Veluwe, where Mirit contributed to a study on new sanitation, and a thesis on the reuse of treated wastewater for agriculture at the Technical University of Crete. Mirit has also gained experience in the hospitality sector and educational support while actively participating in sustainability and social justice initiatives. Mirit holds a Master's degree in International Land and Water Management and a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from Wageningen University & Research.
