Jeroen Theelen is a consultant specializing in soil and groundwater with experience at TAUW since October 2020. Previously, Jeroen completed an internship in environmental consultancy at Sweco, where research focused on greenhouse gas emissions from soil and land use in the Netherlands. Jeroen has an extensive background in environmental science, including all-round employee roles at Dwingelflora and a trainee position in the soil department at Econsultancy.nl, where independent research on soil contaminants was conducted. Furthermore, Jeroen participated in an Erasmus traineeship at the Niels Bohr Institute in Copenhagen, contributing to studies on past and present climate periods through ice core analysis. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Applied Science in Environmental Science from Wageningen University & Research and a minor in Soil and Subsoil from Saxion University of Applied Sciences.
