Iris van der Veen is an experienced soil advisor currently working at Tauw Nederland since January 2023. Prior to this role, Iris served as a PhD Graduate Student at Universität Potsdam from September 2013 to June 2021 and worked as a Junior Soil Consultant at Tauw Netherlands from April 2018 to January 2021. In an early position, Iris contributed as a Troubleshooter at Zomerjobs.nl in July 2011. Iris holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Earth Life and Climate from Utrecht University (2011-2013), an Erasmus Abroad program focused on Polar and Alpine Climate and Organic Geochemistry from Stockholm University (2012-2013), and a Bachelor of Science in Aardwetenschappen from the University of Amsterdam (2008-2011). Additionally, Iris attended Fysiotherapie hogeschool van Utrecht in 2007-2008.
