Dirk Paulus possesses over two decades of specialized experience in soil remediation, currently serving as a Senior Advisor and Senior Expert in Soil Remediation at Tauw since October 1998. Responsibilities include drafting remediation plans, preparing tender specifications, and overseeing various remediation techniques such as excavation and in situ methods. Prior to this, Dirk Paulus worked as a Programme Officer for the FAO from September 1995 to September 1998, where tasks involved organizing farmer field schools and managing financial and technical aspects of agricultural projects in Cambodia. Dirk Paulus holds an engineering degree in Agricultural/Irrigation Engineering from KU Leuven, earned between 1983 and 1990.
