Richard Adey has been in the workforce for over 40 years, beginning their career in 1978 as a Graduate Engineer at BAE Systems. Richard then moved on to PwC in 1985 as a Management Consultant and then to British Airways in 1997 as a Senior Manager. In 2002, they joined 3 Peak Solutions as a Business Consultant and then moved to JCC Lighting in 2012 as Executive Chairman. In 2015, they became a Consultant at DENEPLACE LIMITED, where they developed electric vehicle technology in the USA and Europe and provided due diligence and general consultancy for private equity and banks on acquisition, improvements and disposal. Richard then joined Penwizard Ltd in 2012 as Non Executive Chairman before becoming Chief Executive Officer at Taur Technologies in 2018.

Richard Adey received a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Nottingham in 1981. Richard then went on to obtain a Master of Engineering in Engineering/Industrial Management from Cranfield University in 1984. In 1997, they completed their Master of Business Administration in Finance, General from the London Business School.
