Emma Atkinson is an experienced educational leader with a diverse background in various roles within the school system. Currently serving in a leadership support capacity at Star Academies since September 2020, Emma previously held positions such as Senior Vice Principal at Harrop Fold School and Interim Headteacher at a Secondary School. Emma's career includes significant contributions as Senior Vice Principal/Vice Principal at Waterhead Academy, Assistant Headteacher at North Chadderton School, and as SENCO, Literacy Coordinator, and Teacher of English at Middleton Technology School. Emma began the teaching career as a Teacher of English at Springhill High School and holds educational credentials from the University of Leeds.
