Jerome Tai is a skilled compositor with extensive experience in visual effects for feature films and commercials. Currently serving as a compositor at Tau Films since October 2021, Jerome has contributed to notable projects such as "Water Gate Bridge" (2022) and the "Five Hundred Miles" (2023). Previous experience includes work at Flystudio on the Netflix series "Mr. Midnight: Beware the Monsters" and at VHQ Media, where Jerome progressed from junior compositor (2017-2018) to mid-senior level compositor through 2021. Early roles included a production runner position at Spectrecom Films for a Barclays Bank advert and a production assistant role at Red Communications. Jerome holds a degree in Television and Film Production from the University of Portsmouth and a diploma in Animation, Visual Effects from 3dsense Media School, alongside earlier education at Sunway College.
