Andrew Bennett has worked in a variety of roles in the communications and media industry since 2005. Andrew began their career as a Media Relations Officer for the Department of the Premier and Cabinet of WA, where they were a Ministerial Media Advisor to Hon. Alannah MacTiernan, Minister for Planning and Infrastructure. In 2006, they moved to Mills Wilson Communication Consultants as a Communications Consultant. In 2012, they became Co-Owner of Cocktail Gastronomy and Director of Communications for The CG Group of Companies. In 2017, they worked as a Corporate Affairs Advisor for Brookfield Rail and then Arc Infrastructure. From 2018-2022, they were a Communications Manager and Communications Advisor for NERA - National Energy Resources Australia, and then Deputy Chief of Staff and Senior Communications Manager for Tattarang. Finally, in 2022 they took on the role of Deputy Chief of Staff for Minderoo Foundation.
Andrew Bennett attended Aquinas College, Perth from 1990 to 1998. Andrew then attended The University of Notre Dame Australia from 1999 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) in Political Science and Government and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Transnational European Sovereignty.
