Daniel Bekes is an experienced finance professional with a strong track record in strategic leadership and business transformation. Currently serving as CFO and Vice Chairman of the Board at TATRA TRUCKS a.s. since April 2022, Daniel specializes in business strategy, investments, and organizational development. Previously, as EMEA CFO at Nidec Global Appliance from April 2018 to April 2022, Daniel led a multicultural finance organization and managed significant change initiatives. Daniel's earlier roles include crucial positions at Whirlpool Corporation, where responsibilities ranged from EMEA Industrial Operation & Manufacturing Controller to Plant Controller, focusing on operational efficiency and M&A activities. Additional experience includes senior financial roles at STIGA, Mondi Uncoated Fine Paper, MATADOR AUTOMOTIVE GROUP, and an audit assistant position at PwC. Daniel holds an Engineer's degree in Finance and Financial Management from VSB - Technical University of Ostrava.
