Yongyi Mason

Senior Vice President, Supply Chain & Operations at TATCHA

Yongyi Mason has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Yongyi is currently working as the Senior Vice President of Supply Chain & Operations at TATCHA since 2022. Prior to this, from 2018 to 2022, they held different roles at Benefit Cosmetics, including Vice President of Purchasing and Vice President of Purchasing and Sustainability.

Before their time at Benefit Cosmetics, Yongyi worked at L'Oréal from 2016 to 2017, serving as the Vice President of Supply Chain where they focused on driving upstream supply chain agility and developing agile supply chain practices. Yongyi was also the Vice President of Purchasing from 2016 to 2017, where they implemented the L'Oréal Operations TOP Program within the Purchasing team.

Yongyi also worked at ERICO from 2011 to 2016, where they held several leadership positions such as General Manager of China, Vice President of Asia Sales, and Vice President of Global Sourcing. In these roles, they provided overall leadership, drove commercial and operational growth, and led sourcing and supplier development teams.

Prior to ERICO, they worked at Newell Rubbermaid from 2004 to 2011, where they served as Director of Global Sourcing, Senior Manager of Global Sourcing, Manager of Global Sourcing, and Buyer. Yongyi successfully managed global sourcing activities, identified suppliers, and drove productivity improvement initiatives.

Yongyi started their career at Anheuser-Busch in 1995 as a Purchasing Agent where they conducted purchasing and logistic analysis for the company's expansion into China.

In addition to their work experience, Yongyi completed an MBA internship at Air Products as a Logistics and E-business Analyst and also worked as a Global Sourcing Specialist at Ingersoll Rand.

Yongyi Mason obtained a Bachelor's degree in International Trade and Economics from Wuhan University of Technology in the years 1993 to 1997. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in International Marketing at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics from 1997 to 2000. Finally, they completed their education with an MBA in Supply Chain and E-Commerce from Clemson University between 2000 and 2002.
