Amiya Tripathy has extensive experience in finance and accounting roles. AMIYA began their career at SAIL in 1993 as a DY MGR and worked there until 2002. From 2002 to 2009, they served as a Manager Finance at NTPC SAIL Power Company Pvt Ltd. Amiya then joined Tata Consulting Engineers in 2009 as an Associate Vice President- Finance, where they were responsible for various finance and accounts functions including SAP implementation, Working Capital Management, Team Management, and Risk Management. In 2015, they became the Chief Financial Officer at Tata Insights and Quants - A Division of Tata Industries Limited.

Amiya Tripathy has a diverse education history. AMIYA first obtained their Middle English School degree from B B High School in Dhenkanal, Orissa, during the years 1975 to 1977. AMIYA then attended Brajendra High School in Nayagarh, Orissa, from 1978 to 1982, where they obtained their HSC degree. Tripathy went on to pursue a B.Com degree in Commerce at Ravenshaw College in Cuttack, Orissa, from 1984 to 1986. AMIYA continued their education at Utkal University, where they obtained an M.COM degree in ACCOUNTS between 1986 and 1988. After that, they pursued further specialization in Cost and Management Accounts at the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India - ICWAI from an undisclosed start year until 1990, earning an FCMA (India) degree. Tripathy also obtained an M.PHIL - 1st year Course work degree in Commerce - International business at Delhi School of Economics from 1989 to 1990. Moving forward, they obtained a company secretary degree (ACS) from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, covering the period from 1995 to 1998. Lastly, they completed their education at The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants from an undisclosed start year until 2003, earning an FCMA, CGMA degree in Management Accounting/ Strategy.
