Melissa Chimbangu currently serves as Director of International Litigation & Employment Law at Tata Communications, having progressed through roles of Senior Legal Counsel and Legal Counsel since July 2019. Prior experience includes an Associate position at Szaferman, Lakind, Blumstein & Blader, PC from September 2011 to July 2019, where Melissa managed general litigation for businesses and individuals focused on commercial and labor issues. Previous roles comprise judicial clerkship with Honorable Travis L. Francis at the Superior Court of New Jersey, and various legal internships at the US Department of Health and Human Services, United States Attorney's Office, and the District Court of Maryland. Melissa Chimbangu earned a JD with a concentration in Health Care Law from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law and a BA in Government, Spanish, and International Studies from Franklin & Marshall College.
