Hiran Venugopalan is an accomplished design professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as Director of Design and Head of Design at Kaleyra since April 2020, Hiran also shares expertise as a Design Mentor at adplist.org. Prior to Kaleyra, Hiran directed design efforts at Quintype, Inc. from February 2016 to March 2020, focusing on product and consumer divisions. Hiran's previous roles include Lead UX & Visual Designer at Bang the Table, where contributions were made to the flagship product EHQ, and Head of Technology, Design & Branding at The Links India. Additionally, Hiran co-founded SaltMangoTree, Kerala's first successful social and digital media agency. Earlier experiences include founding Ubiqurio Consultancy and participating in Google Summer of Code 2007, developing the first Unicode Malayalam decorative font. Hiran earned a BTech in Computer Science from Vidya Academy of Science and Technology in 2009.
