Saroj Mohanty started their career at IHCL in 2000, where they served as Manager of Human Resources at the Taj Group Corporate Office until 2012. In 2012, they joined Tata AIA Life Insurance as Vice President of Human Resources.

Saroj Mohanty has pursued an MBA in HR from JBIMS, which is affiliated with Mumbai University.
