Cameron Tapley has had several roles in their work experience. Cameron started their career as a Junior Network Engineer at Legal Resources in May 2018, where they gained experience in operating systems, hardware, and Windows server administration. In April 2019, they moved on to become a Tier 1 Service Agent at Perspecta, providing help desk support to Navy and Marine Corps users and documenting and resolving issues. In August 2019, they joined Booz Allen Hamilton as a Senior Consultant, specializing in Cyber Security Intelligence Analysis for the Joint Staff CE-INT team. In this role, they provided targeting expertise, authored security reports, and identified and remediated system vulnerabilities. Currently, they are working as a Security Analyst at Tassat, starting in August 2021.
Cameron Tapley's education history begins in 2018 when they attended Tidewater Community College and obtained an Associate of Arts and Sciences - AAS degree in Cybersecurity. In the same year, they also obtained a Network+ certification from CompTIA.
In 2019, Cameron Tapley enrolled in Old Dominion University and pursued a Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity. They acquired a CompTIA Security+ certification in August of the same year and a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification from EC-Council in December.
During the next few years, Cameron Tapley continued their studies at Old Dominion University and in July 2020, they earned a CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+) certification. In February 2021, they obtained a Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge from the Cloud Security Alliance. Lastly, in June 2021, Cameron Tapley achieved a Cyber Defense certification from TryHackMe.
