Liz Wren Parks Tas has extensive experience in media and communications within the public sector, currently serving as the Media and Communications Manager at Tasmania Parks & Wildlife Service since February 2003. Prior roles include Senior Ranger Neighbour Relations at New South Wales National Parks and Wildlife Service from 2000 to 2003 and Manager Community Programs at Southern Directorate, New South Wales National Parks and Wildlife Service from 1995 to 2000. Liz was also the founding editor of the Snowy Times newspaper from 1988 to 1992, contributing to tourism in the Snowy Mountains. Liz holds a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources/Conservation from the University of Michigan School of Natural Resources and a Diploma of Education from the University of Queensland.
