Darroch Donald

Darroch Donald is a seasoned communications and wildlife professional currently serving as a Communications Officer for Tasmania Parks & Wildlife Service since March 2016. Previously held roles at the same organization include Discovery Ranger and Visitor Services Officer at Maria Island National Park and Freycinet National Park, where responsibilities included developing and conducting educational activities to promote conservation. In addition to park services, Darroch has extensive experience as an Oiled Wildlife Response and Rehabilitation Consultant, providing training and advice on wildlife response efforts since 1992. Previous positions also include Conservation Communications Officer for Trust for Nature and various roles in wildlife communication and consultancy. Darroch's education includes a degree in Wildlife Illustration and Photography from Dyfed College of Art. Publications include the book "Darroch Donald’s Creatures - Encounters in Wildlife Rescue."
