Jan Homuth has extensive work experience as a Support & Application Engineer in the field of microcontrollers. Jan worked at TASKING, Powered by Altium®, starting in November 2000. At TASKING, they were responsible for providing technical support to customers, including post-sales support, pre-sales support, and counseling sales staff. Jan also conducted product and MCU architecture training for customers and partners. Additionally, they acted as a technical liaison with chip vendors and third-party vendors, primarily Infineon. Prior to their time at TASKING, Jan worked at IAR Systems as a Support and Application Engineer from April 2000 to November 2000.

Jan Homuth attended Technische Hochschule Ulm, where they obtained a degree in Feinwerktechnik and Maschinenbau as a Diplom-Ingenieur. Jan also studied at Ulm University and received a DVS SFI certification as a European Welding Engineer. Additionally, they studied Medizin at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz.
