Bob LaFrance has over 30 years of experience in business development and program management in the aerospace industry, spanning various companies. Bob started as the president of Task Aerospace in 2013 and became the CEO in 2023. Previously, Bob was the Military Business Development Manager at Tronair, where they were responsible for building the Military/Government business segment, resulting in over 35% growth in sales. Bob also managed Program Management and Business Development for aircrew seating at Goodrich Interiors and was the Vice President of Programs and Business Development at Scot Incorporated (Chemring Energetics). Earlier in their career, Bob worked as the Business Development Manager at Pacific Scientific and the President of Articulate Systems. Bob's work experience is focused on developing strategic plans for growth and expanding business within the aerospace industry.
Bob LaFrance attended Idaho State University from 1974-1975, studying architecture. Bob then went to the University of Nevada-Las Vegas from 1975-1976 for a business-related field of study. Subsequently, from 1976-1979, they went to the Pilot School, Commercial, to pursue Aviation and received a degree in Commercial Pilot. In 1979, they graduated from the Cessna Sales and Marketing program with a degree in Aircraft Sales.
