Benjamin Stout has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Prior to this, Benjamin served as the Senior Director of Strategic Sourcing at Solenis. At BASF, they held multiple roles including Senior Procurement Manager, Senior Global Supply Chain Manager, and Manager of Supply Chain Excellence & Projects. During their tenure at BASF, Benjamin led various strategic projects, such as developing a global risk management program, directing the acquisition of a supply chain group, and leading a global project team. Benjamin started their career at Dow Chemical, where they held roles such as Global Import Compliance Manager, Global Supply Chain Planner, Import/Export Specialist, and Supply Chain Analyst. At Dow Chemical, Benjamin's accomplishments include achieving cost savings, streamlining international container shipments, and optimizing supply chain networks. Prior to this, they briefly worked as a Logistics Purchasing Analyst at Dow Chemical and as a Disaster Recovery and Risk Management Analyst at ABN AMRO Bank N.V.
Benjamin Stout obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business with a focus on Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University - Eli Broad College of Business between 2004 and 2008. In 2015 to 2016, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Finance and Marketing at Oakland University. Additionally, they obtained a certification as a Six Sigma - Green Belt Project Leader from The Dow Chemical Company in 2011 and a Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) certification from APICS.
