Ahmed Gamal is an experienced applied data scientist currently working at Tarjama since May 2022, focusing on fine-tuning large language models for various tasks, including machine translation with significant time savings for translators. In addition to this role, Ahmed serves as a machine learning session lead at Udacity, providing engaging presentations for learners. With a background as a machine learning specialist on Upwork, Ahmed conducts exploratory data analysis, builds predictive models, and offers expertise in SQL and Python. Previous experiences include working as a data scientist at Unilever, where forecasting techniques and analytics reports were automated, and serving as a mentor at Information Technology Institute and Next Technology Leaders. Ahmed's technical background is supported by a Bachelor of Computer Science degree with a focus on machine learning from Helwan University Cairo.
