Louis Willacy serves as the Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel at Tari Labs, overseeing global operations and providing legal counsel on decentralized networks, blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, and NFTs. Willacy also holds the position of COO/GC at Yat Labs, along with advisory roles at The Third Place and Kamix, the latter being a pioneering money transfer service to Africa utilizing cryptocurrency. As a Charter Member of TechGC, Willacy engages with peers in the legal community to share knowledge and best practices. Previously, Willacy contributed as General Manager and SVP at The Meet Group, General Counsel at if(we), and held legal leadership positions at Tagged, Inc. and Jumpstart Technologies. Educational qualifications include a JD from Columbia Law School and a BA in Government from Wesleyan University.
