Markus L. has over 25 years of work experience in various roles within the banking and finance industry. Markus started their career at DG BANK AG, where they served as a Qualified bank clerk from August 1996 to September 1998. Markus then joined Mannheimer AG as an Insurance Specialist for the year 2003. After that, they worked at Crefo Factoring as a Risk Management and Internal Audit professional from January 2004 to May 2005. Markus then moved on to FORUM, where they held the position of Conference Manager from 2005 to 2007. In 2007, they worked at Royal Bank of Scotland as a Client Manager for a brief period. Later in 2007, they joined GE Capital Bank AG as a New Business Underwriter until December 2008. Currently, Markus holds the position of Head of External Audit / Leiter Außenrevision at TARGOBANK since August 2022.

Markus L. attended the University of Applied Sciences Ludwigshafen from 1998 to 2002. During this time, they pursued a degree in Corporate Finance, Banking, and Insurance, and successfully completed their studies, earning a Dilp.-Betriebswirt degree.
