Doug Doherty is an experienced automation technician with a comprehensive background in programming and commissioning RTU and HMI based systems, primarily within the oil and gas sector. Currently serving as an Intermediate Automation Tech at Tarco since July 2023, Doug has previously held roles including Electrical Maintenance Specialist at Crossroad Energy Solutions Inc. and Electrician at AMO Electric. Additional experience includes senior positions such as Technical Field Solutions Manager at SIGIT Automation Inc., Automation Manager at Cobalt Controls, and Senior Programmer at GlobalFlow Inc., among others. Doug holds a Red Seal Journeyman Electrician degree from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology and has accumulated a breadth of expertise in project management, field services, and electrical and instrumentation services.
