Nino Ocampo has extensive experience in various roles related to open banking, digital messaging, and product management. Nino most recently served as the Chief Product Officer at Tarabut Gateway, starting in June 2022. Prior to that, they worked at TransUnion as the Senior Director of Open Banking from October 2021 to June 2022.
Before their time at Tarabut Gateway and TransUnion, Nino held multiple positions at HSBC Retail Banking and Wealth Management. Nino was the Global Head of Open Banking & Customer Preferences from October 2018 to October 2021, where they played a crucial role in shaping the organization's open banking strategy. As the Global Head of Digital Messaging from January 2016 to November 2018, Nino led the development and implementation of digital messaging solutions. Before that, they served as a Senior Digital Product Manager, responsible for messaging and personal financial management, from September 2012 to December 2015. Nino started their journey at HSBC as a Customer Development Manager in November 2009, where they worked until September 2012.
Prior to their time at HSBC, Nino worked as a Senior Strategic Marketing Analyst at FedEx from July 2008 to December 2009.
Nino's career began at HSBC Philippines, where they initially served as a Payment Services Manager from July 2003 to September 2004. Nino later became an Assistant Vice President from September 2004 to July 2006, responsible for driving process and product improvement through quantitative methods, as well as coordinating outsourcing initiatives and leading supplier negotiations and audits.
Nino Ocampo completed their MBA in Marketing and Decision and Information Analysis from Emory University, Goizueta Business School in 2008. Prior to that, they attended Ateneo de Manila University from 1998 to 2002, where they pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Management Engineering, specializing in Operations Research.
