Farooq Bandali, PharmD has over 18 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Farooq started their career in 2002 as a Clinical Pharmacist at Bridgeport Hospital, where they rounded with the medical and surgical intensive care unit teams, monitoring patients' drug therapy and providing patient-specific therapy recommendations. Farooq then moved on to become a Pharmacy Practice Resident at Charleston Area Medical Center Health System in 2004 and a Critical Care Specialty Resident at Medical University of South Carolina in 2005. In 2006, they were a Clinical Assistant Professor and Critical Care Clinical Pharmacist at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey and Saint Peter's University Hospital, where they provided comprehensive pharmaceutical care and medication management to critically ill patients in a 24-bed mixed medical surgical and cardiac ICU. In 2007, they became a Consultant at Hunterdon Medical Center, where they evaluated policy and advised on procedures for the dialysis center. From 2015 to 2021, Farooq worked as a Senior Medical Science Liaison (Cardiovasular & Metabolism) at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson. In 2021, they joined Philips as a Medical Science Liaison, where they served as a key field-based scientific-clinical partner with a strong track record in developing KOL relationships. Farooq collaborated with internal colleagues in medical affairs strategy, R&D, clinical development, commercial, and data science and contributed to and helped develop MSL strategy. Farooq is currently a Co-Founder at Taqwa Media LLC, a position they have held since 2013. In 2022, they will join Takeda Oncology as a Senior Medical Science Liaison.

Farooq Bandali, PharmD obtained their Doctor of Pharmacy degree from The University of Texas at Austin in 2000, after completing six years of study in the field of Pharmacy. In 2007, they became Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist through the Board Pharmaceutical Specialty. In 2010, they began an Executive MBA program at Rutgers University - Newark, completing one year of study before leaving the program.
