Behnam Atefi

Senior Product Design Lead at TAPSI

Behnam Atefi has a diverse work experience in various design roles. Behnam started their career as an Industrial Designer at Mana Design Co. in 2015. Later, they worked as an Industrial Designer at Shargh Sanat Industrial Group, where they identified ergonomic errors in the production line and proposed solutions to protect workers' health. In 2016, Behnam worked as an Exams Coordinator and Student's Advisor at Kanoon Farhangi Amoozesh Ghalamchi, where they managed a team and provided guidance to talented students.

In 2016, Behnam joined Digikala.com as a Product Designer. Behnam contributed to the design system, redesigned order pages, and improved the item return process, resulting in time and cost savings for the business. Behnam also designed a new checkout funnel and helped establish a new business line for Digikala Supermarket.

From 2019 to 2021, Behnam worked at Balad Maps as a Product Designer. Behnam created and maintained the company's Design System and designed experimental features to explore new business opportunities.

Since 2021, Behnam has been working at Divar as a Senior Product Designer. Behnam played a key role in the Services & Jobs teams, designing services flows and developing the "easy apply" feature, which improved hiring efficiency for both job-seekers and employers.

Most recently, Behnam joined TAPSI in 2023 as a Lead Product Designer, leading the design of innovative products for the company.

Behnam Atefi completed their Bachelor's of Design in Industrial and Product Design at the University of Tehran from 2015 to 2019. In 2016, they also obtained a certificate in User Experience Research and Design Specialization from the University of Michigan. Prior to that, they attended the National Organization for Development of Exceptional Talents (Sampad) from 2007 to 2015, where they completed Middle School and High School in General Studies. Behnam has also obtained various certifications, including "Enterprise Design Thinking Practitioner" from IBM in 2020, "Become a Product Manager" from Udemy in 2022, and "1000 Mentorship Minutes" from adplist.org in 2023.
