Réal Thibeault has extensive work experience in various roles in the software engineering and web development fields. Réal is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at TapClicks since January 2018. Prior to that, they served as the President/CEO of Godeek starting from September 2017.
Before joining TapClicks and Godeek, Réal worked as a Web Engineer at Dealer.com from October 2014 to September 2017. In this role, they utilized technologies such as JQuery, DOM/Javascript/Ajax, CSS, HTML5, Groovy, AGILE, GIT, VELOCITY, and SASS.
Réal'sprevious experience includes working as a Senior Web Developer/Architect at EGP TechnoVirtuel Inc from September 2013 to October 2014, and as a Consultant/Architect at Marlin24 from June 2012 to March 2013. Réal also worked as a Consultant at WOW Médias! from June 2012 to July 2012.
In addition to this, Réal Thibeault worked as the Development Director of Facebook and social networking applications at Social Geek Media from June 2010 to April 2012. Before that, they served as a Consultant/Architect at Tourism Express from May 2009 to March 2010, where they developed personalized administration systems for clients and customer websites.
Réal also worked as a Consultant/Architect at IMÉDIA from March 2009 to May 2009, where they developed a dynamic system for the Agence Artistique Maxime Vanasse website. Réal started their career as a Consultant at Inter from November 2008 to February 2009.
Réal Thibeault's education history begins in 1992 when they started their Master's study in Philosophy - Logic at the Université du Québec à Montréal / UQAM. Réal completed this program in 1997. Then, in 2016, Réal pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Computer Information Systems at CUNY New York City College of Technology.
In addition to their formal education, Réal Thibeault has obtained various certifications. These include Tools and methods for project management from the Computer Research Institute of Montreal in 2005, System adm. of Unix/Linux, adv. configuration and security from the same institution in 2002, and ASP, DHTML, Perl-CGI, Photoshop 5.5 advanced module, Strategy and information monitoring technology on the Internet, TCP/IP protocol, Visual Basic (and Crystal Report), Visual Basic for Application (VBA), Windows NT Administrator, and Windows NT Optimization and Troubleshooting from the Institute of Information Technology in 2000.
