Dave Wentker is the current CEO at Tapcentive and has over 20 years of experience in the financial industry. Dave started their career at Visa in 1996 and quickly rose through the ranks, becoming Vice President in 1999. In this role, they led a groundbreaking group that transformed the smart card industry and created the foundation for mobile commerce.

After a brief stint at RioPORT, Dave returned to Visa in 2000 and took on the role of Head of Visa's global product development group. In this role, they were responsible for driving strategy, development, and execution of mobile programs in payments, money transfer, information services, and loyalty.

In 2009, Dave became Head of commercialization for Visa's global NFC mobile payments program. This program was launched in markets across the US, Canada, Asia Pacific and Latin America.

In 2012, Dave left Visa to join Mobile Commerce Advisors as Principal. In this role, they provided strategic advice to clients on how to navigate the rapidly changing mobile commerce landscape.

In 2013, Dave joined Tapcentive as VP of Product. In this role, they are responsible for leading Tapcentive's product development efforts and ensuring that the company's products are meeting the needs of their customers.

Dave Wentker completed a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Carleton College.
