Wolfgang Tolkien is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in firmware and development engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Firmware Engineer at Tantalus Systems since December 2018, Wolfgang previously held the role of Senior Development Engineer at Cypress Solutions Inc. from September 2013 to November 2018. Earlier in the career, Wolfgang was the President and CTO at Agilink Systems Corp. from August 2008 to August 2013, and also worked as a Senior Development Engineer at Global Net Commerce, Inc. from October 2002 to June 2008. The professional journey began as a Firmware Developer at Sierra Wireless from January 1999 to October 2002. Wolfgang holds a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Leibniz Universität Hannover, earned between 1993 and 1998.
