James Wei has been working in the procurement and sourcing industry since 2004. James began their career at Woods Industries as the Director of Asian Sourcing, where they set up the Asian HQ in Shenzhen, China and developed strategic partnerships with vendors in China, Philippine and Singapore. James then moved to Masco Corporation in 2007, where they served as Senior Director of Asian Operation. In 2012, they joined Apat Electronical as VP of Operation, where they set up a new procurement team, identified and resolved product quality issues, and managed component costing. In 2019, they joined Testrite as SVP, and in 2020, they became the Head of Asia Sourcing and Vendor Relations at Tanoshi.

James Wei obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from UC San Diego between 1996 and 1999. James then attended San Francisco State University and obtained their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management between 2002 and 2004.
