Austin Fritsch has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Austin is currently working as a Mechanical Engineer at TANN Corporation since June 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Alto-Shaam, Inc. as a Quality Assurance Intern and R&D Engineering Intern from June 2019 to December 2019.
Austin also has experience as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the MSOE Rapid Prototyping Center, where they set up and optimized builds for various additive manufacturing processes. Austin worked on analyzing stl files and fixing them using Materialise Magics.
Earlier in their career, Austin worked as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at TANN Corporation in 2017, where they worked with AutoCAD and SolidWorks to update and upload drawings. As a Drafting Intern at TANN Corporation in 2016, they interpreted 2D CAD drawings and translated them into 3D CAD models using SolidWorks. Austin also shadowed field technicians during equipment installations and updated outdated technical drawings.
In addition, Austin gained experience as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at POYRY APPLETON LLC in 2016. Here, they shadowed and aided mechanical engineering consultants, and learned about various design phases by visiting job sites and observing design work.
Austin Fritsch is currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering at the Milwaukee School of Engineering since 2017.
