Noel Smith has extensive experience in the financial industry. Noel is the Chief Investment Officer and Founder of Convex Asset Management LLC since 2018. Noel previously worked at Bengal Capital as the Head of Fixed Income Options and Futures Trading from 2013 to 2018. Prior to that, they were a Managing Partner, CIO, and Head of Trading at Third Millennium Trading LLC from 1995 to 2009. Noel also had roles at KCG Holdings, Inc. as a Venture Capitalist from 1999 to 2007 and at Cboe Global Markets as a Market Maker and Floor Trader from 1996 to 2005. In addition, they are currently the Head of Options Trading at Tanius Technology, LLC since 2019 and a Research Collaborator at Columbia Business School since 2020. Noel Smith also serves as a Member of the Board of Directors for Imerman Angels since 2012.

Noel Smith has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry, Physics, and Molecular Biology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. They also have a degree in Production from the University of California, Los Angeles. Additionally, Noel has obtained certifications in Series 56, Series 7, and Series 63 from FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority).
