Tanay Amirapu is a Senior Associate at TANGO International Inc., where they focus on monitoring, evaluation, and research for various organizations including UN agencies and non-governmental organizations. Previously, they worked as a Research Associate at The University of Auckland, teaching courses related to environment and disasters. They have extensive experience in disaster risk reduction and management, including projects in New Zealand, Vanuatu, the Philippines, and Indonesia. Tanay holds a PhD in Human Geography and a Master of Arts with First Class Honours in the same field.
