Antonio Altamirano has a long and successful career in the technology industry. Antonio began their career in 2002 as Manager of APAC Product Marketing for Oracle, a provider of database and enterprise software, technology products, and cloud engineered systems. During their time there, they produced the first technology podcast, before the iPhone, with over 6,000 downloads in 30 days, and generated $150,000 in sales by building the first NAS digital campaign. In 2006, Altamirano moved to AKQA as Senior Account Manager for Yahoo!. Antonio then joined Accenture in 2007 as Global Lead for Search & Social Media, where they built the search & social media product/practice for Accenture worldwide and advised the Google Adwords team on strategy for targeting large brands. In 2010, Altamirano co-founded Table8.com, a company that allows customers to dine at the world's most popular sold-out restaurants. During their time at Table8.com, they scaled the team by hiring, training, and coaching the engineering founding team, and was awarded a patent for geolocation technology. In 2012, Altamirano founded Interesante. Finally, in 2008, Altamirano founded Tangelo, an innovation lab and startup studio in Silicon Valley, with 100% underrepresented talent. During their time at Tangelo, they created the 4th health app in the App Store, the first mobile site for a Silicon Valley corporation, and an empowerment app which was highlighted as "App of the Day" by Apple twice. In 2020, Altamirano joined the Forbes Technology Council as Group Chair.
Antonio Altamirano received their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from San Francisco State University between the years of 2001 and 2004. Antonio also earned their Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador between 1996 and 1999.
