Chuan Tian has been working in the field of Computational Chemistry since 2015. Chuan began their career as a Research Assistant at Stony Brook University, where they led the development of ff19SB and significantly improved MD accuracy. In 2018, they took an internship as a Data Scientist Intern at Linx. In 2020, they worked as a Research Scientist in Computational Chemistry at Eli Lilly and Company and as a Scientist in Computation at Relay Therapeutics. Currently, they are the Director of Computational Chemistry at TandemAI.
Chuan Tian completed a Doctor of Philosophy in Computational Chemistry from Stony Brook University between 2014 and 2019. Prior to that, they studied Biomathematics, Bioinformatics, and Computational Biology at Tongji University. In addition, Chuan Tian has obtained certifications from various institutions, including Coursera, Global Innovation Management Institute, and The Wharton School. These certifications include Machine Learning with Python, Innovation Associate (level 1), Innovation Master (level 2), Modeling Risk and Realities, Fundamentals of Quantitative Modeling, and Introduction to Spreadsheets and Models.
