Sebastiaan Kolmschot has extensive experience in the chemicals industry, particularly in textile applications, with a career at TANATEX Chemicals starting in May 2003. As a Member of the Works Council and Secretary, Sebastiaan provides information and consultation on corporate and social policy. In various leadership roles, including Group Leader and Manager in R&D, Sebastiaan has focused on the identification and adoption of sustainable technologies for digital textile printing, project management, and product development, achieving significant advancements such as the development of TANAJET® thickeners and TANAPRINT® rheological control agents. Prior experience includes being a Project Leader at Schmits International, where Sebastiaan developed a patented polymerizing coating system, and a researcher at TU Delft, focusing on catalytic hydrogenation. Sebastiaan holds an MSc in Organic Chemistry from Utrecht University and has completed further education at institutions such as PTN and NIOK.
