Nicholas Michael has worked in various roles since 2006. Nicholas began as a Graduate Research Assistant at Rutgers University, where they worked on cutting edge projects sponsored by the Department of Homeland Security, NASA, NSF and NIH. In 2012, they moved to IKOS CIF Limited, where they worked as a Portfolio Analyst, Financial Software Engineer, and Financial Software Engineer. In 2018, they joined Extra Energy Holding (Cyprus) Ltd as a Scrum Technical Product Owner. In 2019, they took on the role of Head of Analytics and Development at Lendwise, and also worked as a Quantitative Developer / Product Owner (Analytics Team) at Hellas Direct. Currently, they are a Senior Software Engineering Consultant at Talos.

Nicholas Michael obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from Rutgers University between 2006 and 2011. Prior to that, they obtained a double degree in Computer Science and Mathematics (Actuarial track) from Binghamton University between 2002 and 2006. In addition, they have obtained four certifications: Certified Scrum Product Owner from agile42 in March 2018, Enterprise Risk Management from QuadPrime Cyprus Ltd in 2018, Financial Services Regulatory Framework: Advanced Examination from CySEC - Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission in April 2017, and NFA from National Futures Association in July 2016.
